Can anyone give me the rundown on Colorado CCW?

Governor Owens took the high road despite the crying of misguided Columbine parents and enacted the 2 bills. Can somebody tell me what is happening with them in layman’s terms? I read the newspaper reports, but it was fairly ambiguous.

Thats a good question. Last thing I heard was that SB 24 goes into effect after 60 days, SB 25 after that, not exactly sure when. I did a quick search of colorado.gov website and can't get any current information. I'm interested too, I'm starting my NRA handgun training class this week. I'll relay whatever I can find.
