I need help finding a Norlund brand axe. I think it was called a Voyageur. Single bitted, light weight head with about a 28" to 30" handle. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Any help finding the company would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I believe the long handled axe was called a TOMAHAWK it had the HUDSON BAY PATTERN BLADE. I don't think the company is still in business. It or axes with that pattern blade were the axe of choice of trappers and woodsmen for years. There is a U.S. company ( SNOW & NEALLY )making a similar axe , do a search of HUDSON BAY PATTERN AXES. good luck.
