They look like Mt. Biking gloves.
Are they?

Airwolf, the watch is a Victorinox Chrono Racer (with carbon fiber dial and carbon fiber-like leather band)

tw1112, I got them at the O-store at the Spectrum.

Kevlar, yeah they're Oakleys

Harrydog I think they are MT biking gloves but I can type with them on. I'm hoping the thumb can stand up to my Benelli shell carrier.

Jeff, I have found a carbon fiber pen I think you'd like. I don't remember the manufacturer, but if you're interested, I'll find out for ya.

Now, you need CF pattern tattoo'd onto your arms
.. or a carbon fiber (long sleeved) shirt; with a H&K logo on the front, of course.:D

skunk I hope you don't wear all that fibre in a thunderstorm as youll be one heck of an expensive lightning rod ( carbonfibre conducts electricity very well . ) :D hey there we go we found you cowboy name the CF kid ! :D

The backdrop is my maritime operation bedsheets. I haven't found carbon fiber bedsheets yet. Believe me if they had a carbon fiber pillow I'd use it!!! Owwwwww

KMK, thanks on the pen but I found a CF Honda pen to match my strategic Crisis Response Vehicle ;)

As for thunderstorms, big deal. My hair stands up by itself anyway :D

And I still haven't ordered that stinking Benchmade 770 :banghead:

Hmm, my understanding of carbon fiber is that it is not flexible. I'm also not sure what benefit there would be in using carbon fiber in a glove.

carbon fibre undies talk about uncomfortable .. and everyone thought burlap was bad.....:what:

You are way past Tacticalatious. You are - uh - otherwhereish!

I keep seeing you as a character in a William Gibson novel.... carbon fibre implants and all.....

Carbon Fiber Gloves!!!! Man, they saw you comin', Skunk!

I'm also not sure what benefit there would be in using carbon fiber in a glove. curt, rest assured that Skunk doesn't neet a clearly defined benefit to buy something with carbon fiber. Or that looks like carbon fiber.

They sell because they look cool. Like this ---->

Skunk, now all you need is a Mclaren F1 to drive around in with your gloves and you'll be set! Hey, if you like carbon fibre, it's the car for you. Ok ok, so it's technically "carbon composite monocoque" but it's close enough.

Schuey2002
April 14, 2003, 02:21 AM
... or a Ferrari F50,(the ultra limited) FX and/or the newly released Enzo which are all made of a similiar type of "carbon fiber monocoque" material.;)
