I do get them, occasionally.
Now that the nation's attention is riveted on the high drama unfolding in New Orleans ... do you reckon anyone is paying attention to that pesky border thing?
I'm just wondering if this natural disaster may divert whatever meager attention the Feds have been paying to our southern (cough, cough) border. Whatever resources ("assets," I believe they are called in mil-speak) get deployed to help out in LA and MS, I certainly hope those assets are NOT pulled from border interdiction duty. If anything, this would be a good time to be extra vigilant, in anticipation that gate crashers will try to use the confusion to their advantage.
