Meijers, a super center chain in Michigan and the Midwest has send 3 semi-trailer's of food to Misssissippi to feed victims of Katrina. What has Walmart done?

Wal-Mart has given $15 million. That's probably more than you and me combined.

I think we should count all the looted/commandeered stuff from Walmart as donated too.

In addition to the $15 million, Wal Mart is also opening up a series of mini supply centers along the coast with nothing but water, fruit juice, canned food and other basic supplies that are free to the emergency workers to get for furhter distribution. 3 whole semi-trailers, hmm?

Though Wal Mart is unpopular these days, I think their donations to the hurricane relief has been impressive. I heard figures above the $15 million mark. Their efforts should be applauded.

Why would anybody conclude that the largest retailer in the world is "unpopular?"
