Was talking to the folks at Berry's and they recommended keeping their copper plated bullets under 1200 fps.

Well out of a 16" inch barrel like in my Olympic Arms 9mm AR, I usually gain about 50 fps per inch up to about 1450 fps. Now those are hotter loads using Power Pistol, AA#7, or HS-6 driving a bullet 1200 + fps out of a 4-5" barrel.

Maybe use faster powders like AA#5, W231, Universal, or even TiteGroup.

I can get some aweome pricing on some 115 grain Rainer RN but don't want to strip the plating.

Does anybody shoot Rainers or other copper plated bullets out of their 9mm carbines?

I would recommend using West Coast plated bullets, they avarge about .012" of plating and can handle higher speeds then Berry's.
Here is a link to there web site, if you have any question's call Red Halliday he should be able to answer your question.
