Rough out? Smooth out?

leather snaps or Kydex clips? Opinions, please, for an IWB holster.

depending on how stiff the leather, and how thick the belt..snaps can be a pain....a good clip like on the alessi talon works pretty well...when you mention kydex do you mean j-hooks? they work okay too....i like smooth side out since it is easier to slide into my pants...with a good set of snaps, clips, or whatever, it shouldn't move around much at all...a good belt will help there along with good placement....

Horsehide, smooth out, hide straps that screw in. No snaps. Love it!
