I am in the process of locating an M42 and wondered if anyone could tell me about them. (yes i am an SMLE nut.)

as far as i know none of them have actually made it into the country.

I emailed the US General Manager of Sabre Defence (they're a UK-based company). He said they're a month away from being offered. I want a pair of them thar rifles so bad I can taste 'em.

They cant get here fast enuf for me I love the SMLE and the idea of a beefed up enfeild in 308 really gets me going. thanks

Golly jeepers those are purty rifles. I just got an email from lawrence ordnance saying sabre defense would be the US distributor. i have emailed them to find out the when&where. the SMLE is my favorite rifle the .308 is my favorite round. if these rifles are half as good as they look ill take one of each!
