Hi Guys,

What's the going price for a Model 13-3 in 98-99% condition?

Is $325 a fair price?

Thanks

i paid about $240 out the door for a 4" 13-3 with finish in what i'd guess to be about 80% condition, perfect mechanicals.

I paid $275 for a 95% 13-3 with the 4" HB in the box with with papers a few months ago at Cabela's. I considered this to be an excellent price. At any other store in town I'd expect to pay somewhere under $350, so I'd call $325 a decent price.

Not bad, I paid $300 for my 13-4 3", is it a 3" or 4" A three inch will be more. IMNSHO a 3" 13 is one of the best CCWs around, Get it.

late 80's, I purchased a S&W Model 13-3, that had been nickel plated and carried as a backup piece by an LEO before being put on consignment at a range I used to frequent. Most Model 13's are blued, but this one sports the 13-3 designation on the crane of the cylinder. It also has a 3" Heavy Barrel...and Pachmayer Grips. Paid $180...and I still own and shoot it. Real sweet action...

Hi guys,

Thanks for the input. It's a 3 inch Model 13-3. I took another look at it. It appears unfired. No carbon marks around the cylinder front. Very faint bolt line on the cylinder. No residue on the topstrap. The only flaw on the finish was some blueing wear on the cylinder from lying flat in the bottom of a drawer with some occasional rubbing. Needeless to say, it's mine now :)
