I just recently got bit by the AR15 bug, and have been looking for accessories. Well, I have been overwhelmed by the choices for scopes and mounts as you could imagine. It is confusing: a.r.m.s., picatinny, weaver...what is compatible with what. Long story short- I found a used aimpooint reddot MKIII for 50.00 and an A2 handle mount for 15.00, put it together and surprise - it actually worked. It looks kinda cool in an old shcool kinda way on my AR. Moral of my story- it beats the 500.00 or so I almost spent.

Hey, If it works and you like it go with it. I like to see people get deals. I purchased a New Aimpoint ML3 for my AR-15 and it kicks Butt!! :)
