THANK YOU to the British and Australians on the front line with our guys and gals. And a big THANK YOU to their government who had the b*** to back up what they say and believe and realize what is happening in the world. Alll the best to them as well as our troops.
A note on the French: I read somewhere, someone said that we should not condem the French because of what their policticians say as our own policticians do not speak for all of us. I agree with that. That said, the best comment I've heard is: "The French will always be there when they need us."
Good luck to them all.

Absolutely right. While we've seen a lot of bashing of the Brits and Australians for their gun policies, those two countries have stood firm with us through many, many wars. And now we have the Poles with us as well.
Thanks, guys!

Good show....especially considering the lack of public support they have or had (it's improving I hear) at home. True allies and friends.

And to the Poles and our other comrades in arms during this war. :D

It's a sad statement to call three countries a coalition. I certtainly hope this does not last too long and ends quickly. Deep in mind, Vietnam was initially a French war, and then became an American and Australian war.
May history not repeat itself this time!
Best of luck to the land forces!

Actually there are more than 40 countries involved in the coalition. But then, I'm sure you're in the France and Germany are "the world" group.

Is the Brits,Australians and Poles the only 3 other members that committed combat troops?
I saw where the Irians intercepted and seized a Iraqi speed boat ladden with explosives that was going to attack one of the coalition ships.Interesting.

I believe Denmark has also sent forces of some variety.

I also believe Hungary & Bulgaria have committed special-ops troops.
Remember Bulgaria? They used to do most of the assasinations for the KGB. They're considered the best in the world. And now they're after Saddam...

I understand the Brits are currently doing some of the nastiest house to house stuff due to their expertise gained in N. Ireland and elsewhere. Well done, carry on.

Yeah, it's good to find out who your friends really are. Thanks to the Brits, Aussies, Danish, Hungarians, Poles, and let's not forget the Spanish (I haven't heard of them comitting troops, but hey, they're cool)! This is all very convenient, really. I've been wanting to go on a tour of Europe for a long time, and this is making picking countries to visit MUCH easier. All our real friends are welcome to my tourist money.

I will open myself up for a flaming, but bear with me. My Socialist Canadian government says it is absolutely opposed to this war, and my so-called elected officials keep trash-talking Americans every chance they get. Funny though, how even though 'we' are supposedly against the war, we still sent some warships to the Gulf to do patrols, and I think I may have heard something about fighter pilots also, but I can't be sure on that one. So, here we are, one of the countries that is officially against it and aren't part of the "Coalition of the Willing", but we have more military presence there than a LOT of the 40-odd other countries that are supposedly backing the Coalition....funny, ain't it? I wonder how my politicians can be so stupid. So, to swallow some of my past words in here, and I'll admit I still disagree with some American points of view, I want to say sorry on behalf of Canadians, because our politicians are giving us decent folk a bad name.

CampX, looks like we are in the same boat. Old Jean and co. are making a big mistake, at least in my opinion. I also wish to apologize to the American board-members about Canada's "government" and what it is currently saying. I feel I have more in common with you guys than my glorious leaders, and some of my countrymen.
Thank you for having the cojones to fight for what is just. I only wish my country would do the same.
