Was that a good price for a used, excellent condition knife? I didn't know what the going price was for them, but it sounded good. Think they are a bit over $100 new now.

Tanto. Havent measured it with a tape, but it looks like about 5 1/2", maybe 6".
Just looked it up on their website. It's the "regular" tanto, 6", brass guard and butt. The price they showed was $230 something. Guess $35 was a decent deal.
