I have a Toshiba TV and the buttons of the remote glow all night long. Very easy to see in the dark. Why cant this same sort of material be used for night sights on a handgun. Would be cheap and easy to do, I think? :)

Would that be because of the battery powered LED inside the remote?
Sooner or later we might be able to get something like that.
For now the closest you can get is the Doctor Optic sight, small enough to mount in place of the rear sight on some handguns.
