I am planning on buying a better scope for a BAR in 30-06
leaving for col in a month or so for elk and most shots where we go are in the 50-150 yd range, occasionally could range out to maybe 250-300 yds max,I am looking for the best fov i can find as opposed to higher power
leupold 3x9x40 seem to be pretty good 14' @ 100yds
2.5x8x36 is about the same.........question is what if any problems am i going to have out to 300yds with lets say a 2x7x32 nikon monarch. Is it even going to be enough to see that far? if I even have time to adjust the scope
