Loading for new 10mm Witness. Picked up a pound of AA#7 today and my cast 155gr.SWC and 180gr.TC should come in a couple of days. Could anyone help me with min. & max. loads and OAL for these two bullets?
I often have trouble finding cast data for the weight bullet I plan to use. The books always seem to list something 5-10 grains lighter or heavier than what I want. When I do find the bullet I'm looking for, the powder choices don't include what I'm using. Am I not looking in the right books or do you guys have the same problem? I sure would appreciate any tips you have on how to figure powder charges for cast bullets....at least starting points.
Sure appreciate the help.

Do you have the pamphlet put out by AA?

That should hopefully give you some information.

I'm using No. 7 and 200-gr. bullets, IIRC.

I'll check when I get home this evening.

Don't take our word for it, go here:

You can also save a PDF copy of their load pamphlet....

I usually lose up to a grain of powder when loading for lead....
