My new M1 Carbine

I found this at a Pawn/Gun shop a few weeks ago. Picked it up for $500. It is a 100% origional 1944 Quality Hardware carbine with, I say again, ALL origional parts. Even the sling is WW2. Stock is highwood QH by Rockola. So.. I think this moves to the head of my list of good deals. Funny thing is they had a Mixmaster Inland for $699. This shoots good groups but a little off. I think that I will just keep it as is though and shoot my others.

Still got lots more to go to have one of each.

Wow.
When you say "shoots a little off", I assume you mean elevation, and you don't want to replace the front sight?

It shoots about an inch or two right at 75 yards.
I also paid $550 not $500 just checked the receipt. They were asking $599. I called and asked them to hold it for me . Went by a week later and the man asks" did you discuss price on the phone" I said no, I was just gonna pay asking price. At this point I was thinking the "to good to be true, truley was" Instead he said" I'll give you $50 off. How's that?" I said I guess I can do that...... :D

You should be able to adjust windage ok, then.
Nice gun. Looks better than mine, but I paid less (and mine is a mixmaster Postal Meter).
