Injunctive relief?

NRA apparently stands for Never Rush Assistance, so ...

Does anyone have access to the same kind of legal boilerplate that the enviro-wackos use to screw with loggers?

A DIY request for an injunction against firearms siezures in NO is better than NRA inaction.

Is there a THR member who has standing here, and is willing to have a rep request an injuntion ... or able to present said boilerplate himself?

And is there any pro bono 5th district help available here?

( warning, IANAL ... I am flying blind ... )

What we need is a specific injured party. They may be able to represent the "class" of all such persons harmed, but there has to be at least one specific person named who is willing to be the lead plaintiff. That is what keeps the NRA, GOA, SAF, or other organizations from taking prompt action.

It looks like an injunction isn't needed now ... someone got a clue and had the police back off ... but lawsuits still need to happen.

Unless some cops and supervisors feel real financial pain over this, it will happen again.

Wrong, financial pain will not make a dent. Someone needs to be fired, never to be an LEO again, and jail time. Civil rights violations, criminal trespass, assault, theft of property.

If I stole your gun, then the next day returned it, do you think the police would say "ok, you messed up, but you made in right by returning the property, you can go, we are not going to charge you".
