Does anyone know if thinner front sights are sold anywhere, for the replacable front sighted S&W "Classics"? If not, I'm going to have to have them milled down to about 2/3 to half the thickness. (I'd rather buy them!) Thanks-

Try Smith & Wesson ... :D

They used to sell 1/10" wide sight blades, and they might have some left. Also the company's historian, Roy Jinks might be able to clue you as to where some might be.

I like a little extra "air" around my front sight also. For $15 you can pick the blade style you like from www.jackweigand.com/interfs.html and then carefully draw file (or mill) it to the width you like.

Good Luck...

Joe
