JM's original design did not have the mag safety. It was was insisted upon by FN before they'd produce the pistol.
Field strip the pistol. Look at the side of the trigger. You'll see a wee pin. Poke(sometimes it's bash) said pin out from the left, pull the plunger and spring out the back of the trigger inside the mag well.
Wags your link asks for a UN and PW to log in.

Link worked for me. Found it very intresting too. I've read just about every article Mr. Camp has posted for the BHP, good read!

Are you speaking of the small pin holding in the disconnect plunger and spring or the trigger pin on which the trigger rotates in the frame? If the former, the plunger and spring should pop out. If not, it is because there's a burr or gunk preventing it. If you rotate and gently pull the plunger rearward, it should come out along with the small coil spring.

Best.

Commissar, talk to Sam.

He lives in Alamagordo and does that stuff for a living.

Does damn good work too.
