My local shop got 2 in yesterday and I just bought the last one. It's a very sleek gun with no sharp angles, should be good for concealed carry. The DA trigger is comparable to a Taurus Millenium only a bit lighter. The SA trigger is lighter and shorter (duh). It doesn't break as crisp as my XD, but you can't have it all. Mine is a LE model so it came with (3) 17 round magazines! The sights are glow-in-the dark. Now I just have to wait a week before I can shoot it. Range report to follow...

It was $499.99. A pretty good deal I think. Impactguns.com (http://www.impactguns.com/store/JXF9F13.html) sells the same thing at "wholesale price" for $489.99 and are "Out of stock: Late 2005 Accepting orders."

What do you think of the width and the weight?
Do the magazines fit in the 92 FS (probably with a spacer)?
Please give us a range report.

I was quite pleased with the width; Beretta's web site say's it 1.4 inches wide. Overall, the gun was very similar in size to my 4" SA XD but the rounded edges make the PX4 seems more compact. plus, the Beretta comes with interchangeable backstrap to customize the feel.

Iteresting gun.

Pardon my ignorance but when did the px4 come out. I have never heard of it
or seen it in any magazines.
Does it use the same mags as the 92/cx4

Here is one for 499:

It makes a Glock look like a beauty queen. :what:

If I'm wrong please correct me, but I don't think it uses 92 mags. I've heard they are coming out with a next generation carbine that shares the PX4 mags. Could be all internet rumor though.

Geez, and I thought the 9000S guns were too thick! At least they (9000S) had the safety/decocker on the frame where it belongs.

My wife will kill me, but I asked my dealer to order me a PX4. Now mind you, I just bought a Glock 21, now ordering a PX4. According to my wife, I dont need a PX4 since my walther p99 is almost the same, according to her. So, I will now have to enter into "sucking up husband mode" for a short length of time. :what:

Just got one of these. These are sweet. I hate thick guns and was a bit misled by the "1.2" width, however, that is including the ambi safety levers which are about 1/4" each. The gun itself is right about 30mm. Light weight, smooth and ergonomic. Can't wait to shoot it. It resembles a HK P2000 with its tapered slide design. There is supposed to be a subcompact at sometime, I only hope it doesn't have the super short grip with the longer barrel like their mini-cougars had, something Glock sub sized!
