I deprimed over 1000 9mm shells on a Lee single stage last night. This morning I ordered the dies for my Dillon SDB progrssive.

Can you get carpal tunnel from reloading??? :D

Yes yuo can get carpal tunnel from reloading.
You can also get lopsided if you do all of it with 1 hand.

Ok, I counted every 9mm round I worked on. there were 1,277 pieces of brass. That means that just in depriming and sizing, I pulled that lever 1,277 times. Today, I flared and primed the cases. That's 2,554 more lever pulls. By the time I get done, I would have pulled that lever 5,108 times this weekend. That doesn't include the 288 pulls to load the 72 rounds I fully loaded on Thursday.

Next rounds to work on: 400 rounds of .45-70, then 350 rounds of .44Mag.

I really should learn how to do this left handed. I would hate to feel like the hunchback because I'm lopsided from holding the muscle weight of my right arm. Of course, I should be ready for the arm wrestling championships soon...

Dillon 650, or Hornady LNL or Lee equivalent with case feed = a ton less work.

Kinda makes the price of processed brass look better when you do a big batch huh ?

I usually spend the winter processing brass, so in the spring and summer I can just load.

It kinda works out better that way, for me at least.

Maybe now you know why most reloaders have one arm longer than the other and one arm usually looks like Ahnald :D

As a result, when I see a hot chick, I always make sure she sees me from my 'good' side :cool:
