I went up on a little trip to the mountians above my house. I went to a spot where I was able to limit out last year, I didn't find a single bird. I usually can find a few at this spot. I did not venture too far from the truck. The knee is still a little unstable. Still it was good to get out. The dogs had a great time.
I had my pocket camera with me so here are a couple of pics. You folks from the south and the wide open prairies might like these.

I wish I could say, "Copper on point, Cowboy backs." Nope, I just snapped this as they ran accross the hill.

The little green circle is the sub-division my house is in. That is part of the Great Salt Lake in the background. My house sits at an elevation of about 4000 feet. The spot I hunted is 9500 in elevation.
