Statistic given by a radio program:

Number of arrests made at "Support Our Troops" rallys: 0
Number of arrests made at "Peace" rallys: 4,378

Wish I could back this up with a government crime site.

Well, I believe that the San Francisco police announced that they made well over 1,000 arrests alone over 2 days.

However, being arrested at a peace rally does NOT mean that the person was committing acts of violence.

Civil disobedience, such as laying down in the street, will also get you arrested, but it's not violent.

(aggrested? Where the hell did I come up with THAT? Geez. Time to make new words, I guess...

Mike,
I understand. I wasn't trying to imply that all arrests were violence related.

I know, I just wanted to get that point across before someone started condemning all of the pro-peace people as violent aholes...

I would like to know, however, how many arrests have been made for violent behavior.
