I don't know anything about the game, but some of the descriptions of the weapons are hilarious. I need a "45 APC" submachine gun. :D

The earth-shattering power of the .357!

A stun gun is useful for evening the odds when fighting multiple enemies

Your .357 revolver can hold six rounds of earth shattering power, and the relatively short 4" barrel makes it easy to maneuver with in confined spaces. A close range shot with this weapon will wreak holy hell on your opponent.

This old school [slide-action] shotgun, based off of the antiquated shotguns of the wild west, has a 5 shot capacity and is devastating at close range.

Ever dreamed of beating an enemy to death with a mannequin arm?

This is your classic 2x4

The .308 (ostensibly the same cartridge as the 7.62x52 NATO)

Missed one :p

I'm trying to picture a 45 APC. Does it have a "type R" sticker on it? Japanese writing? Underbullet neons? Is the case made out of carbon fiber for lighter weight? Does it have an entire isle of clown-gun looking accesories at chain stores?

Most importantly, if it misses what you aim at, is it because it was setup for IDPA instead of defense?

Computer games NEVER have accurate portrayal of weaponry. If you think this is bad, just imagine how many kids get their gun education from Half-Life or Counterstrike.

The game does look interesting. The graphics are just amazing for a console gaming system. That XBox 360 looks quite interesting.

Referring to a 1911: "It features a 8 round clip, so with a round chambered it has an nine (sic) round capacity."

Stun Gun: "The most common use of this weapon is to stun your enemies and then casually stroll up to them and cave their head in with a lead pipe." :D

I'm sure one could shatter clods of earth with a .357--I usually do it with a .22, though.

Sub Machinegun .45 APC (sic):"The sub machinegun boasts a 20 round clip and a sizzling rate of fire. Mow down enemies with fiendish delight and watch their bodies contort with ragdoll physics as you riddle them with bullets." :uhoh: :scrutiny:

"The .308... emerged as a (sic) the wave of the future for assault rifle rounds." I thought that was 7.92x33, the StG.44 cartridge.

Looks like they never proof-read. Or took an English Comp class. Or have ever seen an actual firearm.

Whatever. :banghead:

Remington 788,

What caught your eye; the misuse of "ostensibly," or the comparison of the two cartridges?

that 45 smg sounds like the one they put into Counterstrike replacing the MP5......I'm still trying to figure out how they came up with it......
