Buying Ammo in Massachusetts

Does anybody know of an online retailer that will ship ammo to Massachusetts? The choices at the local shops are limited and the prices are high. I've been driving up to Kittery, ME but that's getting old. Is there a law against ammo shipments to Mass?

No, but it is illegal to purchase ammo in MA without an FID/Gun Licence. When the law was put into place, the MA gov't ran a sting on a lot of companies, and hit them with fines when they didnt check for a MA FID/Gun Licence.

There are sites that will sell to MA, but they usually require a faxed, blood soaked, and urine tested copy of your FId/Gun Licence.

Finally, if you are anywhere near North Attleboro, check out Northeast Firearms, they have great prices! I bought a whole bunch of Korean surplus 30-06 M2 ball for just slightly more than I could have gotten it shipped.

ETA: GOAL release http://www.goal.org/misc/faq/ammo.html

Even tho I am a NJ resident, I joined GOAL, they are doing some real good things for MA recently.

Wow! I never realized MA was that good at cracking down on criminals.

I'm in Wickford, RI.
If that is not too far from you we could work something out.
Good luck.

If you can someone to send it to you, the shipping charges would probably eat up any savings. While Kittery is a fund store to visit their ammo prices are no bargain compared to Four Seasons. Good luck...let us know if you find one

Depends. I've gotten stuff online that is NOT available locally (like .38 Super brass and bulk jacketed bullets); I even got a half-price deal on 9mm bullets at a close-out.

A couple of the places I used now seem to have disappeared; I get 404 when I click on the bookmarks. As for the others - I ain't tellin!

Nothing personal, but I want to KEEP getting ammo and components and advertising suppliers to a hostile and power-hungry AG is not the thing to do. :scrutiny:

Only to my Friends.

Any idea which sites? I have a Class A LTC and plenty of blood and urine.

I go to Four Seasons, AG Guns in Lowell is real good too. Both places have specials for stuff like .45ACP and 7.62x39. However, if you're looking for anything out of the ordinary (.30 Mauser for example) that they have to order for you, forget it.

Finally, if you are anywhere near North Attleboro, check out Northeast Firearms, they have great prices!

Thanks for the tip. I don't get down that way very often (I live in Groton) but next time I do, I'll stop in.

Can you PM it to me? I won't post it.
