CZ75. I used to own 2 Glocks, but still own 3 CZ75s of various configurations

which ever one you like the most (or just get both).

Both are accurate and fun.

The only thing you're going to get from a thread like this is "you should buy XXXX because that's what I have and it's better than everything else..."

As far as IDPA, it's a tossup which gun will shoot better. I guess the only concern would be how they fit into the rules.

In IDPA the CZ-75B SA will be in the Enhanced Service Pistol division and the Glock 34 will be in the Stock Service Pistol division. I have owned both pistols. I still own the CZ.

I would look into this aspect if you want to be competitive in IDPA. If you just want to shoot IDPA for fun it probably won't matter.

I don't know ditty about IDPA but I shoot IPSC a little and I think your choice would have big consequences there. A G34 could shoot production, the SA CZ75 would be in limited and limited 10 where you would compete vs custom 1911's, SVI, STI's etc. You would also be penalized for shooting 9mm in limited and limited 10. The DA/SA CZ75 would fit into production in IPSC.

Now bear in mind this is IPSC and I am sure it is a little different for IDPA (but I think you will run into similar problems). Again, it only applies if you want to be competitive if you just want to shoot for fun it doesn't matter what division you shoot with what pistol.

You could post this in the competition forum and see what people tell you, someone in there must know the divisions for IDPA o hunt them down on the web.

All I can say is that I've owned and shot all of the 9mm Glocks and sold them all.

Now, I will keep the Glock 34 as it is the best balanced Glock of them all.

As to accuracy, if you reload, you can dial in some awesome loads for light recoil and accuracy for comp.

CZ makes some fine pistols too.

shoot both and decide.

Shot a G34 today and was pleasantly surprised (as always every time I shoot it). The gun has no recoil and is very well balanced..anybody who says the G17 shoots the same has a problem with their 'feel' factor...

get the G34 you have a lot more options in competition with it and can set any which way you want..I envy you my friend.!! :o
