I've been thinking seriously about buying this gun as a CCW. I'd like to hear any feedback from present owners before shelling out that kind of money though. Anyone here have any information they can share?

I checked out the Warthog, and I preferred my Para Carry C6.45.I haven't had an opportunity to hold a Para Carry 12 yet,but I'll probably buy one when I do... :D

I Like mine quite a bit. I Have only put about 100 Rounds through mine so I cant attest to reliability so far, but out of the first 100 rounds I think it failed to go into battery twice, a small nudge fixed that. These were also my own reloads, FMJ flat nose bullets, so take that into consideration. The gun seems well made and has quite a tight slide to frame fit. Finish is nice also. It feels pretty good to shoot, recoil is not bad. I would recommend it to anyone. My dad and a friend have shot this gun, they both like it quite a bit.

My current everyday carry is a Para Warthog. I'm fairly particular about reliability in my carry weapon and thought the Warthog might not make the cut for me when the guide rod assembly fell apart after only about a hundred rounds. Para sent me a new assembly with no problem and I've had seven hundred rounds through it since then with no malfunctions whatsoever. Confidence restored. :)

I like the out of the box trigger very much, and the pistol is surprisingly accurate and easy to shoot for being so compact. And I can't argue with carrying 11 rounds of .45 for defense.

I've shot the Warthog and the Carry. I liked them both.

i have a p 12 LDA that i carry almost daily. it works really good. one thing i noticed was that when i shot reloads i had to nudge them shut a coupleof times, never with factorys. so i sprang for a case cage from dillon and lo and behold, when i was making my crimps, the down pressure was creating a little barrel shape to the rest of the case. lightening up the crimp reduced the barrel shaping and reloads started to feed like factories.

try that fix.

as far as the warthog, really good gun
