My apologies to all.

I would like to take this oppertunity to apologize to everyone for the last post I made in my thread; "Discussion with S&W".
I recieved a lot of good advice from most of those who posted. Most of the suggestions I recieved have been followed through on, and logged for informational purposes. Some will be followed through on.
My frustration with the member of this forum who caused me to write the last post at 3:30 this morning should have been handled differently. But when I got up with a screaming headache my self control went out the window. So I wrote the post.
Later I attempted to delete my post, but although there is a "delete" box in the "edit" feature, the system would not allow me to delete it.
Again, my apologies to all.

Go back and hit the 'edit' icon. Then, highlight and delete those parts of the post that you want to. It should allow you to 'back-door' it this way.

As a rule, when you go with an outfit like C&S, you are tapping into the considerable combined knowledge of the American Pistolsmiths Guild. These guys talk to each other and are totally dedicated to outstanding customer service.
One official motto is " all it takes is money" and, given that, they can fix and enhance just about anything. The final outlay for the sort of work you want may be pretty impressive but, there is something special about a gun laid hands upon by C&S or Tenring Precision or Bowen Custom Guns that makes it worthwhile as long as the kids don't starve.

... and the official motto of The High Road is "think twice, post once". Following that will prevent many, but not all, locked threads. Follow VictorLouis' advice on how to delete some or all of a post. Or you can always contact a moderator to have a post completely deleted if you wish and if it won't harm the continuity of a thread.
On behalf of THR, apology accepted. We are well aware that it takes two to tango, so to speak. You certainly weren't alone in causing that thread to get locked, but you did get a little too hot over a relatively minor posting problem. Paraphrasing, "To err is natural, to ignore is even better at times."
I'll close this thread as no further response is really necessary. You or anyone is perfectly welcome to continue the discussion started in the locked thread, as long as it doesn't get pushed off the "Road" into the abyss of personal attacks.
