Woke up last night and started getting ready for work when The Wife came in and said, "There's a dead skunk in the driveway." My first thought was that my attack mutt had broken out of the back yard and tangled with a polecat once again and had gotten the better of it. "the dog didn't get it", The Wife replied, "I shot it." Up until now she has rousted me out of bed to deal with the skunks and hasn't killed anything other than a few stray copperheads. Now she's using my skunk assault weapon before I get a chance to try it out. Too bad she hasn't learned to bury the dead yet. Still, perfect head shot at about 20yrds, just scary enough to keep me in line.

Congrads! So did you mark her with the blood or have her eat the liver or anything?

Congrats!:D

Good luck on getting her to bury the kill. Just like fishing. Most women will fish all day so long as they don't have to bait the hook.

Good Shooting

Did you try the line, "Never kill what you do not intend to eat!"????????????
