I've got this pistol that's a co-worker's; I told him that I knew of a place that was full of firearms knowledge and that if a mount were made, then most likely, someone here would know.
Anyway, here it is. It is a Virginian Dragoon Cal. 44 Mag. (as marked). Any scope mount options/ideas/opinions are welcome.
Thanks!

did anyone figure out who makes the scope mount for these pistols. I saw one for sale with a scope online. It can be done. Cabelas couldn't figure it out.

My best guess is that a mount for a Ruger New Model Blackhawk/Superblackhawk could be adapted to fit:

Get the silver so that if you have to modify it some you can just polish what you cut. It's certainly cheap enough to try as an experiment.
Also: there's a smaller version for the Single Six that might work better:

Try holding this thing next to a Blackhawk and Single Six and see which appears closer.
