I was rearranging my gun room and I noticed that my single shot
410 Springfield /by JC Stevens was missing the front brass bead.

I guess it fell out. Now there is just a 3mm diameter hole with
what looks like lead solder around it.

How would I go about finding a replacement bead and how would I intstall it?

I love this little gun and would like to get it back in working order.

Are you sure the hole is 3mm. That sounds a little large. Anyway, Brownells (www.brownells.com) sells both tapered and screw in front shotgun sight beads. A tapered sight can be soldered in. If the hole is not too large, you can drill and tap the hole and put in a screw in bead. Whichever style you choose, be sure to trim it so the shank does not stick out into the interior of the barrel. Call Brownells and ask to talk to a tech. They will pick the correct size and style for your shotgun.
