Does anyone know who produces a copy of the 25rnd Trench mag for the Mauser K98?

Its a non detachable magasine used on sharp shooter rifles in trenches early last century.
I'll try to fint the book about Mausers that I saw it in so I can post a picture. Have heard that some one makes these.

Tnx
K.

Check International Military Antiques (IMA). They have ads in the Shotgun News. I don't know what their website is of the top of my head, but they do have one.

I've seen 20 round Mauser trench magazines, as well as 50 (!!) round ones.

Great site, but I didn't see the magazines. Checked every page of their German WW1/WW2 material and didn't see 'em. I did start drooling when I thught about what would happen if the NFA was repealed tho...:banghead:

Couldn't find any trench mags for a Mauser at IMA, but thanks. I'll keep checking that site for updates.

I hate to dredge up an olllld thread, but does the one listed by Numrich work in a Yugo M48? :)

How about in a Brazilian M1954 Itajuba Mauser in 30.06? I really have no use for a 25 round bolt action, but that's never stopped me before.

I can't say for absolute certain, but from all the talk I've heard about k98 stocks not fitting M48s due to the intermediate size of the magazine, I'd have to say that it's very unlikely.

But that's just a guess.
