I'd like to see Colt re introduce the diamondback in stainless steel with .22lr and .22 magnum cylinders. :)

October 2, 2005, 09:26 PM
1) Any double stack modern pistol chamberred in 7.62x25 Tokarev

2) More 10mm pistols.

October 2, 2005, 09:27 PM
A steel commander slide/officer's grip 1911 in 9x23 that doesn't take one's life savings.

October 2, 2005, 09:28 PM
:what: Oh yeah!!! Bring back the grendel p-30! Please!!!!!

October 2, 2005, 09:47 PM
I would like to see a .308 Ruger Mini 14, 10mm Thompson Sub Gun with 50 round drum mag :p , new S&W revolvers without the stupid hammer lock :banghead: , Colt M-1908 .380 pocket model in stainless with Novak sights, titanium Ruger 10/22, stainless Browning HP (both 9mm & 40), adjustible sights on a .357 Ruger SP-101, a stainless M1 carbine in .357 maximum cal., and a .22 conversion unit for my kahr K40 :D .

October 2, 2005, 09:53 PM
Any auto in .30 Carbine

October 2, 2005, 09:53 PM
Ditto on many of those especially the .308. Ruger made prototypes and advertised one but never went to market. Also if someone would make an affordable M1a(ala Norinco) they'd make a killing! Colt's almost gone because Springfield Armory, Olympic Arms(and many others) copied their products at a lower price.

October 2, 2005, 10:30 PM
Ruger, Beretta, AMT and??? Made .30 carbine pistols! Have you looked on gunsamerica?

October 3, 2005, 12:01 AM
A CZ-97B in 10mm. Get on the ball, CZ!

Gordy Wesen
October 3, 2005, 12:03 AM
The SP101 should be chambered for the 10mm/.40 instead of the .357/.38.

October 3, 2005, 12:13 AM
Smith & Wesson model 41......in stainless steel.

October 3, 2005, 05:02 AM
I'd like to see HK and/or SIG make a really small single stack 9mm (Make the P232 a tad bit smaller and chamber it 9mm somehow) and an even smaller .380. Preferrably with an aluminum frame.

HK / SIG quality, Kel Tec size, without the Rohrbaugh price.

October 3, 2005, 06:44 AM
A double stack Sig P220 with 13-15 round capacity.

October 3, 2005, 07:10 AM
SIG P225-ST (stainless rather than alloy frame)

Springfield Armory Mil-Spec in 9mm (each pistol tested personally by Ron Leatham before it hits the shelves to make sure the damn thing isn't a jamamatic)

Ruger Mini-14/30 with a heavy 16.25" barrel that comes with #2 20rd factory magazines and a letter of apology from Bill Ruger from the beyond (bonus if the letter has a faint odor of sulfur about it)

M1 Carbine in 9mm

October 3, 2005, 08:07 PM
Couple more- Cheap/but quality American made hk style rifles - no the parts guns don't count!

Mossberg/Remington semi-Auto bullpup shotgun ala the old Hi Standard 10B but with surefire and optics rail.

Bushmater m17 flattop with quadrail

Ruger hicaps for the mini/14/30 (Why can't you make these!)
Factory Ruger underfolder stock - again for the mini's

Get rid of the NFA (fat chance)

That's all for now folks..................

Zach S
October 3, 2005, 08:23 PM
Para P16-10mm, with the old school extractor, and the old look (whats with the current cocking serrations and ribbed frontstraps anyway?).

Para Nite-tac - in single action (with the old look and extractor). How about a gunsmith kit as well...

All that comes to mind at the moment.

October 3, 2005, 08:49 PM

1. Ruger P345 that has the option to accept 1911 mags.

2. Ruger New Model Blackhawk convertible in .41 Mag, with a 10mm and .40 S&W cylinder.

3. Ruger Derringer.

1. Ruger Ranch Rifle in a SOCOM 16 configuration with an M-16 adapter, ala, the Remington 7615P Patrol Rifle.
Barrel options: 16 inch, 18 inch, 20 inch with capable of taking M-16 flashhiders and an option for bayonet lug.
Chambering options: 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendel, and 5.56 NATO. I think this platform would give the M-1A platform a run for its money if this could be priced under a $1,000.00.

2. Ruger Deerfield Rifle in .30 Carbine that can take .30 Carbine USGI surplus magazines. This would be a fund gun.

3. A Kel-tec Bullpup with 22" Barrel.

October 3, 2005, 08:56 PM
WOWWW!!!!!! Buncha good ideas. I hope factory reps are looking!!!!

October 4, 2005, 12:01 AM
1) Bring the P220 9mm back!

2) P225R

3) Dehorned Colts from the factory.

4) Hardchrome SA PRO

5) 9mm & 10mm Colt Defender.

6) 9mm S&W 1911Sc commander.

7) Single stack Glock 9mm & .40 in G19/23/32 size.

8) Pre-Series II Kimbers back in production w. internal extractors

9) Subcompact 9/40/45 HK USP. (Their compact models are hardly compact!)

October 4, 2005, 12:21 AM
Kahr K-9 with aluminum or titanium frame. PLEASE! That would be the very best CCW on the market today and I would pay whatever the cost to get it.

A single stack 9mm Glock that was actually slim and compact. Not what the G-36 is to the G-30 but rather a new design that was actually worth losing the extra rounds for.

A legal H&K MP-5 with collaspable stock and fake can.

A RELIABLE tiny auto like the P-32 or P3-AT but made better.

October 4, 2005, 01:17 AM
while were at it.

I would like a suitcase nuke

October 4, 2005, 01:27 AM
Kahr's teasing me with the T9. I can tell, they really want to make a full size, but just can't go all the way. Otherwise that thing meets the criteria for the "perfect" pistol I'd like to see made:

Full size, all steel
Flat sides with no safeties, no decocking levers, other mechanisms
american made

Hey albanian- do all Kahrs require a tool to field stip for routine cleaning? Not something you can do quickly and easily, or about average?

October 4, 2005, 01:42 AM
i'm not talking a about a totally redesigned frame with grip panels or anything like that, but just substitute the polymer of the glock with steel. i have other ideas, but i want to patent them first.

October 4, 2005, 02:58 AM
Dude. Boots. I said that in a similar thread in GT asking about your "fantasy" glock. I got ripped for it.

October 4, 2005, 03:27 AM
Alchemy Arms Sepecter is kinda similar-no?

October 4, 2005, 04:37 AM
How about a Ruger SA .454 or .475? Something like the Freedom Arms revolvers, but cheaper.

They could call it the Super Duper Blackhawk.

October 4, 2005, 06:40 AM
hk- yeah, but they don't make a 9.

October 4, 2005, 11:30 AM
"Hey albanian- do all Kahrs require a tool to field stip for routine cleaning? Not something you can do quickly and easily, or about average?"

No tool is required but sometimes the slide release lever is a little hard to push out when the gun is new and that creates some problems. Since you have to hold the slide open about an inch and remove the slide release at the same time, if the slide release won't push out, it gets tricky. They tend to loosen up with use. I had one that was really stiff so I just cut a piece of plastic to fit inside the slide and that held it back the distance I needed. All I had to do then was tap the slide release out with something, the handle of a screwdriver works great.

Sounds complex but really isn't. Once you have done it two times, it is not that much harder than taking apart a Glock. After the slide release lever is removed they field strip just like a Glock.

October 4, 2005, 03:44 PM
Eh, original Poster...

They have a single stack Glock in .45. Glock 36. FYI.

October 4, 2005, 03:54 PM
I meant a pm9 sized gun- I do like the G-36 but still too big :D

The Reverend
October 4, 2005, 04:27 PM
The Bren 10!!!

In both 10mm and .45

With mags that work and in blued, two-tone, and Stainless Steel.

God Bless

October 4, 2005, 06:00 PM
:) Interesting!! I've seen them handled them - never fired. Nice looking but weren't they plagued with ftf's? Other problems too or so I've heard. Anyone have a range report on them? I'm gonna hide now in case Jeff Cooper is reading this............ :scrutiny:

October 4, 2005, 06:07 PM
A $230, 9oz, 6+1 single stack, 9mm Kel-Tec, true pocket pistol, just a hair bigger than the P-3AT with two magazines. One of those magazines should have a finger extension, so we donít have to install NAA or Beras extensions on them. Oh, and announce it at the 2006 Shot Show.

No, Glock will never make a pocket pistol, as limpwristing buy purchasers would damage the great Glock reputation. :banghead:

October 4, 2005, 06:17 PM
Jennings 10mm... wouldn't that be a sight to see...

PS, +1 on the Keltec P3AT sized 9mm

October 4, 2005, 06:26 PM
I mean no offense whasoever but- I'd be TERRIFIED to shot a Jennings in 10mm. Did I mention terrified? :what:

+2 on the Keltec P9AT. :D

October 4, 2005, 06:28 PM
Oh, I wouldn't want to shoot it either! --- but man, what a fireworks show that would be!

October 4, 2005, 06:30 PM
Fireworks show how?The muzzle flashing or the gun coming apart in your hand?

October 4, 2005, 06:36 PM
I was thinking the slide ripping in half, and the gangsta complaining about how much more he spent on the shiney model or the 10mm ammunition.

On the other hand, I actually WOULD like to see a sub2000 in 10mm.

October 4, 2005, 09:45 PM
H&K usp [fullsized] in 10mm.

October 4, 2005, 10:22 PM
I'd like to see FN make the Hi Power in single stack!!! (still in 9mm, of course.)

October 4, 2005, 10:40 PM
Now THAT would be cool!!! :)

October 5, 2005, 01:15 AM
a gp100 in 357 max. and a 5 shot gp100 in 44mag/44 special

October 5, 2005, 01:23 AM
a 10mm CZ.

October 5, 2005, 01:46 PM
I'd really like a single stack CZ in .45 acp. But I'd settle for a cz 75 rechambered for *shudder* .45 gap.

October 5, 2005, 02:09 PM
Para single stack 1911 in 9MM with 10 round mags. Adjustable sights and in Stainless. The 1911 in 9MM is one sweet gun. Have the Trojan and Norinco in this format and need a third. 10 round mags would mag it a fun toy in the shooting games.

Stay Safe

October 6, 2005, 02:09 AM
A Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro stainless with hammer and conventional DA trigger, with decocker. Sort of a cross between a Taurus and a Sig -- a Tig! :D

October 6, 2005, 07:22 PM
Oh yeah, bring back the Ruger Speed Six. One of my favorite six guns!

I would also like to see a nice lightweight 9mm snubby that worked without moon clips. A S&W 638 but in 9mm would be the ticket. I would buy one of those for real if it was reliable.

I don't know what the advantage to a P3-AT sized 9mm would be from Kel-Tec. If the .32acp and .380 are any guide to quality and reliabilty, I wouldn't trust it for self defense. Kel-Tec guns are simply not reliable enough to consider for any serious use.

October 6, 2005, 07:47 PM
Kel-Tec guns are simply not reliable enough to consider for any serious use.
albanian - you Obviously do not OWN a Kel-Tec, do you?

The P11 is The Best in Class of any 9mm Compact Carry Weapon out there for accuracy, light-weight, high capacity and durability...

I OWN One - I CARRY One.

The P32 is of the same caliber - In My Book - as an incredible Pocket Gun...

I OWN One - I CARRY One.

I think it would be wise for people to refrain from negative reviews about a weapon of which one has no personal knowledge.

Just my opinion...

October 6, 2005, 09:01 PM
I've owned-
p11 (several)
p-32 (2) :)
sub 2 k (2)

Total rounds fired.... around 2000 total problems 0, zip, zilch, NADA!

October 7, 2005, 12:21 AM
i still want a double stack 22 cal pistol that holds 20 rounds in a standard 22 frame. not hard. easy to do. or a 22 conversion kit for a glock or a 1911 with double stack mags. please someone in manufacturing hear me

October 7, 2005, 12:39 AM
Two words- Grendel P30! :D

October 7, 2005, 12:43 AM
The Beretta Cheetah (tipup barrel) in 9mm and .45acp

CCO, Officers, Champion and Ultra Compact in 9mm

October 7, 2005, 01:07 AM
I was gonna say a civilian Aug- but it's now available!!! :what:

Also - the IMI Tavor. I spoke with Barrett a while back. They said they were going to import it but dropped it in favor of the M468 in 6.8 spc

Those Berettas sound pretty nice Shorts!

October 7, 2005, 01:29 AM

Now I can tell the SO that that's why there's more of them every time she peeks in the safe!

October 7, 2005, 03:42 PM
I want to see a sig p220 in 10 mm. That is all.

October 7, 2005, 03:59 PM
Three barrel .32 mag derringer, internal hammers. Squeeze three times and three shots. Shouldn't be too hard to get, but the three barrel part is the tough part.

October 7, 2005, 04:04 PM
1) Remake of Star PD with improved metallurgy.
2) Ruger P345 with C/L capability.
3) P01 with Manual safety
4) CZ Compact with single stack mag.
5) Remake of Star BM with improvements in firing pin.
6) CZ 40B in 9mm.
7) CZ 75 Retro with NO firing pin block and in Satin Nickel!

October 7, 2005, 04:18 PM
Lots of good ideas guys. I would really like:

- a Scandium Commander in 9mmP
- the return of the S&W 696 .44 spl
- a Bodyguard or Centinal in 9mmP with a shortened cylinder/frame
- a conversion kit to let M1 carbines shoot 7.62 Tok ammo.

I don't see myself buying anything Keltec, even if they made a 9mmP that small. Every Grendell that I ever owned broke, and both Keltec that I have owned broke. At least the 9mmP broke while I was shooting it. The P32 broke its hammer spring just sitting in my pocket. It annoyed me so much that I just put it on a shelf in the closet and didn't even bother to fix it.

Now if Kahr would make a super tiny .380, that would be cool too.

October 7, 2005, 04:27 PM
I think Taurus makes the 9mm revover you want!

Vern Humphrey
October 7, 2005, 04:42 PM
1. A re-issue of the Colt Woodsman, made on CNC machinery (come on, how hard can that be?)

2. The Ruger New Vaquero with adjustable sights.

3. A re-issue of the Colt New Service with adjustable sights.

4. The Ruger SP 101 in .357 with adjustable sights and a 4" barrel.

5. Ruger Standard Model .22 Automatic with push-button magazine release (which the MK III has), easy stripping (which the MK III doesn't have) and a built-in trigger overtravel adjustment.

October 7, 2005, 04:44 PM
"a 4 inch sp101 with adjustable sights"

You mean a (k)gp-100 no?

Vern Humphrey
October 7, 2005, 04:50 PM
"a 4 inch sp101 with adjustable sights"

You mean a (k)gp-100 no?

Not quite -- I'd like a .357 twin to the .22 LR SP 101.

October 7, 2005, 07:12 PM
I'd like to see a Ruger Security Six/GP-100 but with an action as smooth as my 1980's era Python. Also the same but larger frame for .41 and .44 mags.

October 7, 2005, 07:26 PM
Like many have said, a Glock single/staggered stack magazine G19

Bring back the Beretta compact type M, instead of these wierd new compacts.

Ruger SP101 in 9mm, (Again)

And why can't someone make a polymer frame with grip studs to take different grip panels like a metal frame?

Ruger P345 in DAO, something like the DAK

S&W 686 PD, with milled 2 1/2 inch barrel, titanium cylinder, 28-30 ounces

October 7, 2005, 08:03 PM
a) A return of the "I" frame S&W in .32 H&R Magnum (and a .32 Long as well, for you target fans.)

b) CZ needs to reintroduce the Bren Ten (in .45 SMC and 10mm Automatic, of course.)

c) The reintroduction of the Thompson Submachine Gun in 10mm auto and .45 SMC, (or a recoil kit in .45 SMC from the factory.)

d) The reintroduction of Colt's Delta Elite (in full-sized and Commander lengths.)

e) The revival of the S&W 10XX Series pistols... all of them!

f) The MP5 chambered in 221 Fireball (specifically for the HRT crowd.)

g) The ORIGINAL S&W Model 627 (.357 S&W Magnum) and 657 (in .41 Remington Magnum, of course) in a tapered barrel, no lock.

h) A return of the S&W Model 610 in 3", 4" and 6 1/2" barrels (no lock, of course.)

October 8, 2005, 11:23 AM
I would like to see nice quality replica of the Mauser Broomhandle (It just looks cool) and I would like someone to make a large frame, 6 shot .357 magnum revolver like the S&W 27 or 28.

October 8, 2005, 11:32 AM
Colt Magnum Carry

Colt Diamondback (stainless or not, don't care)

AMT .45 Backup redesigned to correct the original's failings while preserving the size.

S&W 696

GP100 in .44 Special

For some reason, I'd like to see semi-auto made on the AK-47 pattern but scaled down for the 7.62x25 & with maybe a Romanian style side-folder buttstock. Oh yeah, and some decent sights.

October 8, 2005, 12:46 PM
1. A Para-Ordnance LDA, w light rail, Novak tritium sights, ambidextrous safety, 30 LPI front strap checkering, Smith and Alexander Magwell, and tan Strider G-10 grips. The slide assembly would be black, and the lower would be OD green.

2. A Para-Ordnance LDA in 10mm, SS, with Rosewood grips.

3. Kimber should come out with a double action pistol in .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum based on the Colt Python design. It would have a deep rich blued finish with Rosewood or Cocobola Jerry Miculek Grips.

Alan Fud
October 8, 2005, 09:28 PM
A Walther PPK in 9mm parabellum.

If Rohrbaugh can make the R9 in 9mm and that is even smaller than a PPK, then there is no reason why Walther can't make a 9mm in a PPK size pistol.

October 8, 2005, 09:53 PM
Glock In 44 Magnum And A 50 Cal Glock

October 8, 2005, 09:55 PM
.25 Caliber Glock With A High-cap Magazine Of About 25 Or So
