Picked up a handful of holsters today for the 1911's and my G30. I'm a lefty, but went ahead picked up a right-hand for each gun model in case I can suck a couple friends of mine into doing a couple IPSC matches with me.

Got me couple more Fobus holsters, which is what I've been using, and picked up Uncle Mike's Kydex Concealment holsters for the right-handers. They looked nice, were adjustable, and they're the same price as the Fobus's. I'da got me a couple, but I didn't see any left-hand on the shelf.

Got home, tried the UM's on the pistols I have. Wow do they feel nice. So nice, makes my Fobus's feel like the garbage that they are.

Got online and started looking for some lefty UM Kydex Concealements. Can't find any in lefty at all. As a matter of fact, most sights specifically stated, "Right Hand ONLY!!"

I notice they only came out in 2001, is that correct? Is it possible that they're only available in right hand?

Ugh, please don't tell me that, please. Finally found a decent holster for $20 and I can't use it? Please no....:(

Yankytrash, I have been after Uncle Mikes for two years now to make some for us lefties. The response to my last email a few months ago was to "watch for them" so, perhaps they are coming around!

Yeah that drives me nuts!!!Every time I need a holster they have to order it,and sometimes the maker needs to make it first.What a PIA.
Leather holsters are easier to find lefty but kydex are a pain.:(

I have an Uncle Mike's Injection Molded left-handed padle on order, again, and it's supposed to come in with Thursday's order at my favorite shop. I won't hold my breath because this will be the second time Michaels of Oregon has left me hanging.:scrutiny:
