I have a LAR Grizzly .44 magnum pistol. Does anyone know a source for replacement magazines. I heard all spare parts were sold to a gentleman out West. Thanks

I thought all those Grizzlies were in .45 Mag.
Anyways, check here for info.

There is a factory conversion kit for the LAR Grizzly that allows chambering in .44 Mag and .45 ACP, and I think a few others. I know a gentleman with one, and from him I got the impression that the conversion kit is pretty rare.

The .44 mag Grizzly was unique, its the only one that didn't (couldn't) convert to another caliber. LAR sold off his stock and quit making them because they became too expensive to make the "old fashion way". Mine has a two digit serial number so their couldn't have been very many made before they stopped. The quality is un-surpassed by anything else, guess thats why its part of the past.:(
