Thanks, Rex, was just looking for dates of manuf. on several 'older' Smiths, one a four screw Mod 29.

Standard Catalogue of Smith & Wesson by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas, Krause Publishing.
I think a new edition (third) is about to be released.
