Question on Shotgun Brand

Anyone have experience with Stoeger O/U's. Dick's Sporting Goods seems to have a pretty good deal going on their 12 and 16 ga. Thinking about picking up a 16 for grouse hunting.


Have an old Stevens double s/s, Win 1300 (gonna trade sometime) and a Beretta Ul390 that I shoot frequently, just want something to add to the collection.

Any opinions or experience?

Rough
that would be the first word that would come to my mind with every one I've handled. (either in store or on field)
just not quite finished.
Would make a nice truck/boat gun
they shoot ok, but everything on them feels rough.
I think the Huglu/CZ/Turkey guns for only a little more money are a lot more upscale. (disclosure, I own a CZ ringneck and love it)

hmmm, see if I can find a cz. I'm just looking for traditional o/u to scratch up.
