Hi All,

Has anyone here tried to run low-recoil tactical buckshot through their Browning Auto-5? What kind of results did you have? Thanks!

Yes , and it works in the Med position, which is where I keep the friction rings on my HD auto 5.

As long as your Auto 5 isn't a 3" Magnum gun, set the friction ring for heavy loads and it should work fine.
I can't say for sure that tactical buckshot will cycle in a 3" gun.
Tactical buckshot loads recoil about the same level as a 1 1/4, 3 3/4, heavy field load.
Heavy setting is friction ring on top on the action bar, bevel facing the muzzle.
Light setting is friction ring on the bottom of the magazine tube, at the receiver and beneath the action bar, with the bevel facing the receiver, good setting for trap and skeet loads, non-steel dove loads, and light field loads, 1 1/8 oz or less.
I don't have a medium setting on my Auto 5.
