For all the 66 owners out there, could you, would you pleeeease post a picture of your holsters? I want to see what there is to be offered. Plus I really love those " Show me your_________" threads. I'm looking to get a couple for my 66's so please list the companies name of the holster. As always thanks for your help all you THRers.

when I did it was a 2-1/2" and I carried it in a high ride Bianchi owb holster. That was back when I was holster ignorant.
My carry gun now is a 65--basically the same as your 66 only with fixed sights. I've been using this Kramer belt scabbard for years and have been very pleased with it:

This is a Desantis belt-slide holster. Model 66 with the rather uncommon 3" barrel.

Excellent choice. I have three (more like 2.5, see below).

In the upper left, this is the FIST paddle. I ordered it with the detailed boning and closed bottom, both of which are extra cost options. In general, you either love or hate paddles. I won't try to argue their merits/drawbacks with anyone. It is convenient, just not as concealable as the other two.
Upper right is the 1/2. This is an Alessi Hideout. This particular one is for a 3.5" Model 27 (shown here holding my pre-27). I only mention it because Lou offers it for the K-frame. I have had one on order for several months now, but it is well worth the wait. It is VERY comfortable with the big N-frame. I assume that this will translate to the same with the smaller revolver. I can't wait to get my package from Uncle Lou...
Bottom center is a Milt Sparks Versa-Max 2. I requested the cordovan with shark trim to enhance the Class A 66 that it carries. It too is comfortable, but not quite as nice as the Hideout. The snap loops are extremely tight! I have yet to be able to snap them over the matching belt. I just thread it like a normal fixed loop holster and then use the snaps for faster removal. The wait was not particularly long, in case you were wondering. I ordered it the same time I ordered the Alessi, and I have had it for 5 months or so. Not complaining, just explaining.
Hope this helps.

Clemson -- who made, and what are, the grips on your 66?
I personally vouch for the Kramer Belt Scabbard for the 2.5 inch Model 66 ... about the most rugged, practical pancake holster for a short-barrelled (2.5 to 4 inchers) .357 out there! (Check out www.kramerleather.com for lots of great pics.)

Old Dog,
Grips are S&W Laminated Wood. Lighting is poor for showing grips, but this photo may be a bit better......
