I saw I guy firing a S&W revolver chambered for .32 S&W long, but it wasn't one of the older K32s. It was very similar in appearance to a 6'' full under lug 686 - though it was most likely a K-frame. And it was blued. Basically it looked like a modern S&W offering.
From this pathetic description does anyone have any ideas on what model this revolver was, and possibly any pictures that can confirm it?
Cheers.

Are you sure it was not a Taurus? They make one in that caliber that sometimes slips into this country.

Model 16, a most desirable revolver.

David,
Looks like you are right, I managed to find one pic of the reintroduced Model 16, and it looks identical.
Thanks for that. They look like a really great gun for target work.
kahr404life,
Yeah the Tauruses slip in here every nown again too :)
Those raging bulls have one of the niceset profiles on the market. I have heard stories about the Tauruses not being able to take the same level of use as a smith, but I guess they are just stories.
Cheers Fellas.

What you saw was a M16-4. The K32s series ran to the M16-3 before they were discontinued in 1974. S&W brought it back in 1989 with the full lugged barrel as the M16-4. They don't have the value of the first series and most are chambered in .32 H&R mag.
