I don't think anyone ever made lighter springs for the Astra.

The problem is, like many small auto pistols, lightening the springs almost always cause mis-fire problems.

It's the nature of many of these small autos, that due to size, space, and leverage limitations, they just have heavy DA pulls, and not a lot can be done about it.

What you can try is:
Buy a couple of new mainsprings from Gun Parts, Jack First or another parts house, and try cutting the spring down to lighten the pull.

Buy a spare so if you cut too much, you'll have a spare.

Second, try lubing the hammer, trigger, and draw bar assemblies with a good, stiff grease, preferably one that contains Teflon.

Last, do what Walther PP series owners do: develop stronger finger muscles.

Once you get a spare spring, try "rolling" the spring on a belt sander. To do this, run a nail or a rod through the spring, and hold it flat against the sander, just applying a little pressure with a padded thumb. Don't let the spring get hot; you are trying to remove enough metal to weaken the spring without shortening it.

Load up some primed cases and as you work the spring down, install it and try firing the primer. (Protect ears - even a primer pop can be loud inside.)

I can't tell you when to quit, but if you have an extra spring or two you can play a bit. If not, quit as soon as the pull feels a little lighter.

BTW, the reason the small pistols have high tension mainsprings (hammer springs) is that firing a primer takes a certain momentum (speed times mass) of the hammer/firing pin. Since a small pistol usually means a small hammer, you need a stiff spring to give the hammer the speed needed to fire the primer.
