I am looking to get rid of my old wheels through an auto donation program. It's a clunker that doesn't run and I'd have to pay to get it hauled away. but if a charity can auction it off and make some money, so be it.

My question is, do any non-profit Second Amendment civil liberties organizations (SAF, NRA-ILA, etc) have auto donation programs? Most charities that do this contract out to a third party who does the collection and auctioning so it has become quite common. I just can't find any not for profit gun groups taking donation.

Find a demolition derby team, they can put your name on their sponsors list for the vehicle. We get plenty of vehicles for our team this way...

I've always given our oldies to organizations that benefit the blind. They come and pick it up, and how else are those people going to get a car?

In Michigan, there is (or was) a Vetrans group that took donated cars, gave a receipt for tax write-off purposes, then sold the cars through ads, auction, etc. Sorry I dont rememver the groups name. Try a google search for them using michigan, car, donate, etc maybe. I bought a car from them. good car, good deal, supported Vetrans (which I will soon be one of).

There's a group called "purple heart" that takes autos to benefit veterans.
