So, the wife got a new Sig Mosquito 22LR.
It's a pretty sweet little gun, same manual of arms as most SIG's, DA/SA, the trigger is ok, but it's a fun little gun.
Only problem is the first round jams EVERY SINGLE TIME:cuss:
I loaded 9 instead of 10 and that worked most of the time, but sometimes the first round there would jam also.
I loaded 8, it worked fine.
I'm thinking crappy magazine.
other thoughts?

I've read on other forums that the SIG Mosquito is prone to malfunction.

Try the SIG forum and see what they say.

What ammo are you using? My mosquito loaded all types of ammo, though malfunctioned on some lighter loads, like standard CCI.

Consider also putting a teeny tiny drop of oil on the first round's bullet tip.
