Such a thing exist so I can practice standing, crouching etc, position w/out kicking my brass to the next zipcode?

Yes, they do. Delta Force catalog, Vol. 25, page 67. From E&L Mfg. Item # EL 121 for M-14/M-1A, Item # EL 133 for M1 Garand, both $34.95. As an added bonus, they're TACTICAL black!:)
