I received my parts in record time. The set came with an extra spring which I did not expect. His site says the springs are Wolff as of 2004.

It took me less than 15 minutes to install them because I'm familiar with the process and had taken the bolt apart to clean the gunk out of it. It is a drop in and looked good.

I'll be posting a review of how the gun functions with it as soon as the weather and money allow a range visit.

"Slam fires" are caused by poorly loaded ammo not the bolt. Loads with high primers can still cause 'em with any firing pin.

The SKS can slam fire because of the trigger group or because the firing pin gets jammed forward in the bolt. It's usually related to cleaning. Even when 'clean' mine severely dented primers. I disassembled the bolt and found cosmoline. I did not like the look or feel of the original firing pin. The kit I purchased works well and feels better than the original. Only testing and time will tell. I'll post a review when I get to the range.
