Been examining my change lately because of all the new nickels and quarters that are out (love the new jefferson, love the buffalo, love lewis and clark).

Anyway, I look at a dime (which hasnt been changed), and ponder to myself, "who is this founding father? I dont recognize him at all." Then it hit me- that is a modern president! Isnt that FDR? What the hell is FDR doing on our currency?

When was FDR put on the dime and how can we get him replaced by someone more worthy? James Madison? Robert E Lee? Ronald Reagan? Andrew Jackson? There are so many better candidates.

I admit this isnt really gun related, but FDR is one of the main causes of most of the ills that plague this country, including gun control (NFA was under his watch), as was wickard v filburn.

Like it or not, FDR is a hero to millions. You and I may not like the welfare state, but at the time a lot of people saw no alternative.

You and I certainly are glad that the United States won Double-ya-Double-ya-TWO, and FDR gets the credit for that one too.

I honestly don't know when FDR was put on the dime, but it was long before I was born.

Take another look around, you might be surprised what you see. They have these fluffy white things in the sky now, too. Those tend to look like any number of Presidents as well as spaceships and dinosaurs.
:neener:

Oh, yeah, and this is way off topic.
