Anybody know a good gunsmith in GA to massage a 1911 trigger?

I'm looking to get a trigger job on a Norc, but don't want to lose the gun for long. I've considered the C&S drop in trigger components, but a true gunsmith trigger job would probably be cheaper and smoother from what I've read.

You might contact alpha precision for your 1911 work. I think they are just outside atlanta.

I will second the recommendation of John Harrison of Precision Gunworks. I have six 1911's that he has touched, ranging from minor work to full house. Extremely good work done by one heck of a nice guy.

It's located in Comer, GA (Madison County) which is about 20 miles northeast of Athens.
