Triggerless machine gun?

Bear with me- I remember reading a blurb and seeing a picture of a gun described as a machingun with no trigger (a modified sten). It was invented as a way of getting around the NFA, since the definition of machine gun involves a function of a trigger. So with no trigger, it would not be a machine gun, even if it fires automatically.

I don't remember how the gun functioned. Made to slamfire, perhaps?

Does anyone have any knowlege of this type of gun?

The BATFE decided that the gentleman's arm was the trigger. AFAIK, he's now in jail.

stay away from the Sten kits as well. I read recently that people have been jailed for having them and a piece of muffler pipe. Read this thread and stay away from the Sten kits.

I knew a guy who had something like that in Vietnam...

M-3A1 with the sear worn down.:what:

He left the bolt down on an empty chamber with a full mag, and would pull the bolt back and hold it if he needed to keep it ready.

He did not have that one very long.;)
