Are there any owners out there of this new Remington rifle?

A buddy of mine just bought one. Beautiful rifle....and boy...it is accurate!!! I was impressed !!!!

He was shooting 1/2 groups with factory ammo at 100 yards.

How do you all rate the 204 Ruger cartridge???

I just bought one in 308 at gander mountain, I plan on using it for local factory benchrest shooting, I only tried winchester white box in it so far. Accuracy for me isn't too bad, I shot about 30 rounds through it while in the process of sighting it in and it is shooting 1MOA at 100yds. You can tell it is getting better with every shot. Next time I go to the range I am going to take several brands of ammo to test out. It is a pretty rifle and even with the single shot it is easily and quickly reloaded. I got the 308 so I could also take it hunting for white tail.

Can't speak on the XR-100 but I've had a .204 for over a year and it always makes me grin.

The .204 is a good cartrage for what its designed for, however, if you plan on going hunting for anything bigger than a deer your kinda screwed. But with the accuracy of that gun your friend should be able to take down moose with it from 2-300 yards easilly
