I understand these guns are very similar, if not identical to, the SiG series of decocker autoloaders. Anybody have one, and if so, how well has it served you?

One on www.Gunsamerica.com for photo comparison:

Hello. I've owned only one A-80, but it was reliable with JHP's and ball and was reasonably accurate. It's been a number of years now and I simply don't remember if the sights were such that POA matched POI. I sort of liked the pistol, but a fellow liked it more than me and bought it after I'd owned it but a few weeks.

Best.

I own an A-100 (9mm)
100% reliable. It even fed some rounds my Glock19 chocked on.

Accuracy is acceptable but not stellar. Well built handgun. Parts are hard to find. I have (9) magazines all 17 rounds. When they where discontinued I purchased a bunch of parts for mine.

If the price is right get it.

If you are still looking, I might be willing to part with an Astra A-80 9mm that I have had for about 9 years. Great gun, and a blast to shoot (almost identical to the sig 220) ,but I rarely ever use it and have put maybe 100rounds through it. Only reason I am interested in selling is a Kimber Custom 45 has my name on it, and I don’t get enough time to shoot to warrant a bigger gun collection... I would much rather sell it to a responsible individual, than to let it go at a gun show or Carters and end up in the wrong hands.

I have an A-100 in .45ACP. I've had it about 18 years. Two 10 round mags. It has been very reliable and simple to operate. It is a bit on the heavy side, and requires a good holster and belt to wear comfortably. The beauty of the A-100 is in it's design to accept either the 9mm or .45ACP slide on the same frame, making it a 2 in 1 gun, almost.
